Results: Reached over 45,314 young people with NO YAWA services in 86 senior high school and 14 communities across the ten regions of Ghana through 175 interactive theatre performances.

Situation Problem: Young people lack access to appropriate information and services on their sexual and reproductive health and rights from service providers. They lack the self-assertiveness to access services. Young people are expose to risk of STIs, unsafe abortion and teenage pregnancy.   

 

Response Solution: Raised awareness of the NO YAWA brand and services among young people in selected Senior High Schools and communities across 10 regions on Ghana. The NO YAWA (Pidgin literally means: no worries) was a collaborative brand developed by DKT International Ghana, Marie Stopes International Ghana and the Grameen Foundation aimed to provide youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health information and services to young people
